Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School, founded in 1973, is part of the Hawthorne Valley Association (HVA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, which includes a 900-acre Biodynamic® farm. We are one of more than 900 schools throughout the world comprising the Waldorf School movement. Hawthorne Valley School is a co-educational, early childhood (pre-kindergarten) through grade 12 independent school. The average graduating class size in the high school is 18. Hawthorne Valley is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) and the Association of Waldorf Schools in North America (AWSNA).
