Welcome Prospective Parents and Students!

Warmest greetings from Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School. We appreciate your interest and look forward to serving you. At Hawthorne Valley, we use the strategies and philosophy of Waldorf education to guide our programming and curriculum development. Purposefully located on a 900-acre Biodynamic® farm, students of all ages experience both the indoor and outdoor classrooms of the school – balancing intellectual pursuits with hands-on, practical experience.

Whether you are the parent of a young child looking for a kindergarten where creative play is the true “work” of childhood or a high school student desiring the opportunity to engage with your curriculum in new and stimulating ways, we are here for you. As current students, parents past and present, and our alumni attest, the experience of Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School is a remarkable one.

We encourage you to contact us to learn more. You may also enjoy attending one of the many festivals throughout the year, visiting us at a school fair, taking a campus tour, or otherwise experiencing the people and place that is Hawthorne Valley. We look forward to meeting you!
