Workshop overview:
This two-day training is designed to provide the opportunity to further develop and extend
teacher’s math instruction skills. This will help teachers gain experience in the use of relevant
tools and approaches that can engage a wider cohort of students. The training is targeted to the
needs of math teachers at each grade level, and draws heavily on the pedagogy of Singapore,
which has proven highly successful in meeting the needs of a wide spectrum of learners,

focus on grades 5 – 8.
