PTA Monthly Meeting: The Anxious Generation Community Conversation
Please join us on Wednesday, September 18 at 7pm for a conversation around our 2024 Community Read: The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness by Jonathan Haidt.
This community conversation will relate to themes in the book concerning critical challenges facing children these days. Some key findings for us to explore and discuss, include: the decline of play-based childhood, the rise of the phone-based childhood, and how to bring more balance to childhood – especially to support a healthier and freer adolescence.
We will continue our discussion of these important topics at our October PTA meeting on Wednesday, October 16 at 7pm.
