PTA Monthly Meeting: The Power of Home Life

Please join us on Wednesday, October 16 at 7pm for our Monthly PTA Meeting.

As part of our Parent Education presentations offered at PTA meetings, Anna Harris, Therapeutic Support Coordinator, will speak to the concept of the 7 Life Processes which Rudolf Steiner addressed as fundamental in understanding child and human development. The social and economic pressures of the world make creating a rhythmic, artistic and socially-nourishing home an evermore daunting task. They also call on all of us to become “social artists.” In this session, we will familiarize ourselves with the 7 Life Processes and consider how, perhaps, they offer a path to reimagine and rediscover what “home life” means, especially in our demanding times, when by necessity we are pulled into so many directions. This study aims to inspire a potential inner imagination, rather than a discussion on an illusive “blueprint “ for what a home should look like on the surface.
