“The marionette play is for adults, a conscious, and for children, and unconscious, education in imaginative vision, and therefore it is an activator of the highest order in the forces of self-healing.” ~ Dr. Michaela Glockler MD
HVS, in the beautiful Taconic foothills of upstate New York, has hosted a collaborative arts conference in puppetry and storytelling every other summer since 2012.
In the spirit of collaboration many participants bring performance offerings to share…and we celebrate inspiration with gratitude! We also offer group exploration of the conference theme and options of in-depth workshops with master artists.
Cost for the 5-day conference is $450, plus room and board. Materials are included in this fee. A variety of housing options are available and meals may be purchased at the Hawthorne Valley Farm Store’s organic deli serving hot prepared foods, soups, salads, and pizza daily. We offer a 10% discount to those who bring a puppet show to share. Work scholarship is also an option to cover part of the conference fee for those who inquire before June 1st.
Registration deadline is June 30, 2018.
For more information, or to register, please contact Janene.
