Anita grew up in a small town outside of Quito, Ecuador and moved to California after receiving a degree in Agricultural Engineering. She spent eight years working in Environmental Education and during this time she learned about Waldorf Education from friends who were both teachers and biodynamic farmers. She attended the Rudolf Steiner College and Sophia Institute for her Waldorf Teacher Certification and has completed the World Languages Teacher Training with Sunbridge Institute. During the past six years, Anita has been working at the Waldorf School of Tampa Bay in Florida as a Lead Kindergarten Teacher and Grades Teacher. Anita has a true affinity for the outdoors and enjoys long walks in nature, bike riding and yoga, and time at home with her family.
