Corinna Komenda
Robin's Nest Leader
Corinna grew up in Germany, attending a Waldorf school. She came to the United States in 2000 with her husband and three children. She studied Social Therapy at Camphill Village Copake, where she lived and worked for 9 years. Leaving the community she realized her dream of becoming a Waldorf teacher and taught German and Handwork at HVWS for seven years. She attended the Alkion Teacher training for Grade Teaching and recently for EC specialization. After a break from teaching to help in her husband’s business she returned to the Kindergarten, having received her certification. She is also teaching violin and viola privately. When not being with children she loves to garden, bake bread, sew, hike and make music.
