Alex Hepp

PE and Games Teacher

Alexander grew up in Troy, NY and graduated from Troy High School in 2020.  After High School, he attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ to obtain a Physical Education Degree.  He completed student teaching in January 2024, and student taught at School 18 in the Troy Central School District and at Guilderland High School.  He completed many additional Practicum Teaching hours at multiple schools in Phoenix.  In fall 2023, he was the assistant coach for the Women’s Tennis team at Guilderland and in winter 2023/2024 he was the assistant coach for the Bowling team at Troy High.  He has and continues to work as an Account Executive for the Albany Firebirds, Box Office Sales for the Tri-City ValleyCats, and as a Spotter for the Albany Patroons. He is thrilled to start his teaching career at Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School.  Alexander currently lives in Troy, NY with his parents and his brother, Jacob.
