Kevin Kilb
Grade 7 Class Teacher
Kevin began teaching at the school in September 2000. He originally came to the community out of an interest in sustainable agriculture, but was so impressed by the children that he pursued the Waldorf teacher certification. After taking his first class through the eight years of elementary school, he taught for a year at Camphill Triform here in Columbia County, and a year at the Freiwaldorfschule in Karlsruhe, Germany before starting with his second class of students, who he also taught for eight years. In the summers, Kevin has enjoyed traveling to destinations relevant to the curriculum, including: China, Rome, Florence, Iceland, Norway and other parts of Europe, so far. In his spare time, he has enjoyed performing in shows at the Ghent Playhouse. Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program at Boston College with a B.S. in Management and Accounting and received an M.Ed. In Curriculum and Instruction from SUNY Empire State College.
