Matt has worked at Hawthorne Valley for over 20 years and has been teaching farming and gardening classes at the school for the past 9 years. He is currently the Co-Director of Children’s Programs at Hawthorne Valley’s Place Based Learning Center where he coordinates the Visiting Students Program and Summer Camp, manages the children’s garden, and oversees waterfront safety at the pond. In his spare time, Matt enjoys mountain biking, ultimate frisbee, and spending time with his family.
