Rachel Loshak

Music Coordinator, and Chorus Teacher
Rachel has lived in the U.S. since 1995 after being raised on an apple farm in the U.K. She has held a life-long love of nature and music, studying violin, piano, and voice. She holds a BA Honors degree in Creative Arts from Nottingham University, a certificate in Music Therapy from The New School in NYC, and a Waldorf Teaching Certificate from The Alkion Center. Rachel’s previous work experience includes creative arts/music therapy, art photo retouching, administration, and performing arts management. Rachel has toured nationally and internationally, and has composed and recorded six albums as a singer/songwriter/bassist. Prior to joining the Mountain Laurel Waldorf School as the first grade teacher in 2016, Rachel began her teaching career leading children’s choirs and singing groups for ages 3-14 years.
