Wildcats Girls Modified Volleyball
The HVS Modified Volleyball team wrapped up its season this week with a strong win on the road at Albany Leadership Academy. Led by 4 returning players from last year's squad, this young enthusiastic team grew tremendously in skills and teamwork and will be the foundation for the years to come as we grow back our HVS Volleyball Program. Titans Girls Varsity Volleyball
After having a rough season of always coming close in set scores, but ultimately losing 1-3 to most teams, we beat Catskill on our Senior Night, our last game of the season. We had played Catskill previously and went 2-3 with them, this being the only team we went to 5 sets with all year. We then played them in a tournament and split sets 1-1. We wanted to beat Catskill in this final game, and we did just that, winning 25-13, 25-18, and 25-5. All 10 athletes, including HVS 9th grader Ivy Malone and 10th grader Eliot Saavedra, played a strong game.
