We are thrilled to share that our own senior, Fabian Gitt-Henderson, was selected to participate in this year’s Capital District Youth Soccer League (CDYSL) Exceptional Senior Showcase!
Each year, the CDYSL joins forces with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and Section II Coaches to host a postseason College Bound Showcase for senior males and females throughout Section II. The game will be held on Monday, November 11 at DiCaprio Fields (3420 E Lydius St, Schenectady).
In a Titans Spotlight this October, coach Scott Preusser said: "Senior center midfielder Fabian was a crucial part of the [Varsity Soccer] team this past season. He was the main distributor on offense with his excellent ball handling and passing skills. The team’s shot production increased dramatically when he returned from being injured for 7 games. He had 3 goals and 2 assists to end the season."

About the Exceptional Senior Showcase
Participants are selected by their leagues/coaches to represent their individual conferences and showcase their talent by competing against other Section II players. Coaches from colleges all over the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions have been invited to attend the games and evaluate local players who in turn hope to be invited to continue their soccer careers in college next year.
