Early childhood through grade 12

Hawthorne Valley Association

We are pleased to offer an Embroidery Skills Day Camp this August for 10-15 years old with beginner to more advanced needlework skills. This is a great opportunity to develop a portable, non-screen hobby for oneself, or together for groups of friends! Embroider new items or re-enliven some old favorites!

This camp will be led by one of our long-standing Waldorf Foreign Language teacher, Frau Pilgrim, who will take students through some embroidery techniques and small projects at a pace that feels positive to each individual. For students who are interested in simultaneously learning German phrases, Frau Pilgrim will be more than happy to provide those individuals with German speaking practice as well. We aim to have a happy, friendly working environment that will inspire, be screen-free and provide a friendship space for young people.
