Craft Workshop: Beginning Knitting

Join HVS Handwork teacher Caroline O’Neill for an intro into the art of knitting. Participants will learn the knit stitch and possibly the purl stitch depending on their progress. This handwork is a great way to work on fine motor skills and build up strength in your hands. Yarn and knitting needles will be provided.

Massimo Hamilton, Class of 2020, of Germantown and Elizabeth Frishkoff, Class of 1986, of Ghent, will each receive this year’s Henriette Reiss Award for Artistic Endeavor for their illustrations of books on fishing and food and the Abenaki language, respectively.
