The Wildcats boys’ varsity basketball team took on the Germantown Clippers on Tuesday. The game went into double-overtime and had it all — an amazing buzzer-beating half-court shot by Chris Davis to end the first half, injuries, recoveries and technical fouls. Despite the tremendous effort by our team, and the vocal support from the many fans who turned out to cheer for them, Germantown came out ahead this time. Jonas Davis led the offense with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Owen Wendell-Braly was right behind him with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Chris Davis contributed 15 points along with 4 assists and 2 steals, and John Disbrow and Aryell Beaulieu-Shaffer added 6 points apiece. We look forward to traveling to their home court on 2/6 for another exciting game.
Fans will have another chance to cheer on our Wildcats at home against Doane Stuart this Friday at 7:30, at the Hudson Middle School gym. Our modified team will play first at 6PM. We hope to see you there!
