A PUPPET PLAY INSPIRED BY JANUSZ KORCZAK

We are pleased to host Brianimations Puppetry Storytelling on Tuesday, May 7 at 7pm as they present King Matt the First.

What happens when a young, orphaned prince becomes king? Based on the classic Polish children’s book published in 1923, King Matt the First is infused with the philosophies of children’s rights activist and hero of the Holocaust, Janusz Korczak. Through the perspective of a child king, this story takes a look at right and wrong, rich and poor, those who have power and those who don’t…event the absurdity of war and racism.

This play is strongly recommended for ages 8 & older only. $10 suggested donation.
