Linda is the point person for Admissions in the Lower School (Grades 1 through 5) and oversees Community Relations at the school. Her commitment to cultural and social renewal is rooted in her deep interest in human relations and the role of education as a foundational support for positive change. Linda studied art (sculpture) at Central St. Martin’s College of Art & Design in London, England then returned to her native Canada to complete her BA Honors in Art History. She landed in New York to do her MA in Curatorial Studies in Contemporary Culture at Bard College, and along the way discovered the work of Rudolf Steiner and Waldorf education. Linda completed her certification in Waldorf pedagogy at the Alkion Center in Ghent, NY. She co-chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) group at the school and is involved in other social justice initiatives at Hawthorne Valley Association.
